GRAUº CERÂMICA ONLINE SHOP
To place an order for one or more items from GRAUº Cerâmica, the customer must follow the usual procedure for online shops: use the buttons next to each article to add an item to the basket and adjust quantities if you wish to purchase more than one item (when available). When you are done with your selection, simply proceed to check-out, following the instructions provided by the website at each step of the way.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
GRAUº Cerâmica’s products are handmade in our atelier in Lisboa (Portugal) using new raw materials. Each item is made with a manual process and will feature small variations (color, size, etc) that make it a unique and unrepeatable piece, we cannot guarantee that they are exactly the same as the ones in the photographs. The variations can occur due to the natural characteristics of the materials used or by imperfections already existing in the pieces.
GRAUº Cerâmica's online product catalog is independent of any partnership with other physical or online stores, in terms of prices and quantities in stock.
PAYMENT
GRAUº Cerâmica accept payments with Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Non-payment orders following the date on which it was placed implies automatic cancellation of the same.
Shipping charges will be added, to the price, depending on the delivery destination. If you live outside the European Union, please note that customs in your country may charge you with additional fees (that vary from one country to another). If you want to be on the safe side, please check your country custom fees before placing an order.
DELIVERY CONDITIONS
Deliveries are made via UPS depending on the nature and fragility of the objects.
Orders are shipped within a maximum period of one week after receipt of payment. Non-payment orders following the date on which it was placed implies automatic cancellation of the same.
Delivery times (European Union) vary from 3-8 business days, depending on the type of item and the shipping service in use. For countries outside the EU, estimated time is 4-10 business days, but can be extended due to customs.If the piece you like needs to be produced (by order), that usually adds one week to the delivery. These kind of situations should always be communicated via email. GRAUº Cerâmica reserves the right to refuse any order.
GRAUº Cerâmica will honor orders received online only up to the limit of available stocks. In the absence of product availability, GRAUº Cerâmica undertakes to inform and refund the customer for the total amount of items that cannot be sent to them.
You will receive an email once the item has shipped with tracking information.The shipping costs accepted by the customer at the time of purchase correspond to a service provided by GRAUº Cerâmica or its distribution partners that guarantees the shipment of your order to the country of destination, and cannot be held responsible for any eventual additional custom's taxes or product's restrictions in some countries.
In the event of an order not reaching its final destination, GRAUº Cerâmica will take responsibility for reimbursing the customer for its full cost. If the delivery does not happen and the postman can't notify the receiver through phone or email it is the customer's responsibility to contact the carrier. And if the order is returned to the sender after not being collected during the period of time allocated by the local post authorities, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for the charges of a second delivery.We use recycled / reused and recyclable shipping and packing materials whenever possible.Deliveries to European Union, UK, USA - other countries upon consultation (send us an email!)
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
The customer is entitled to terminate the order, to exchange or be refunded for products purchased at www.grauceramica.com, without the need to indicate any reason, within 14 days after the day when the customer or a third person designated by them (not the carrier) was in physical possession of the goods.
The customer may exercise his right to terminate the order through any unequivocal termination declaration, in his own words, by letter sent through registered postal mail or in an e-mail, sent to this addresses: hello@grauceramica.com
Returns will only be accepted when within 14 days and exchanges are subject to stock availability. Before sending the product back make sure you send us a return declaration, include a copy of the return declaration with the goods you are returning. Products without a previous return declaration will not be accepted.
The customer will be held responsible for the direct costs associated with returning of the product (shipping and bank charges).
In all cases, any exchange request must be made by registered mail that guarantees delivery of the goods to our address. GRAUº Cerâmica is not responsible for missing packages or any damage that occurs in return shipping. We encourage you to pack and seal the products safely ideally in its original packaging. Returned products must be in the same condition in which they were delivered to the Customer, without any sign of use, and in the respective packaging.
We recommend using UPS and insuring the item for its full value. GRAUº Cerâmica does not accept products that have their original packaging damaged.Once we receive the goods, the refund will be based on the price of the good and does not include the price of the original shipping.You will receive a confirmation email or information for an item you might request in exchange. If the final value resulting from the exchange of products for an order is higher than the initial value of the same, the Customer will have to pay for the difference, using one of the available payment methods. If it is less than the initial amount, or in the event of a return, the Customer may request a refund of that amount by bank transfer to an account to be indicated.
GRAUº Cerâmica applies exceptions to the right to terminate the order, not accepting exchanges or returns of articles for:
- Items manufactured by order, according to customer specifications or clearly personalized;
- Supply of goods that, by nature, cannot be resent or are liable to deteriorate;
- Provision of digital content not provided in physical support if:
i) Its execution begins with the consumer's prior and express consent; and
ii) The consumer recognizes that his consent implies the loss of the right of free withdrawal;
- Items sent for free, as gifts or bonuses.
Making a purchase at www.grauceramica.com the customer is expressing a consent to the terms and conditions.
DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE
Despite our very best efforts to prevent it, items can be occasionally damaged during shipping. At the time of delivery always check if the packaging is damaged, if it is visibly damaged, reject the order and contact us via hello@grauceramica.com reporting the situation.
If the packaging does not show any visible damage but the contents are damaged, it is important that you keep all the original packaging and contact us within 5 days after receiving the product, via hello@grauceramica.com.
We will replace the damaged item or component, reship as soon as our distribution partner inspects and obtained possession of the original package and the replacement products are available for shipment.
GRAUº Cerâmica will assume the costs of the exchange or return, and may reserve the right to exceptionally establish another type of agreement with the customer.Never forget that our work is often inspired by natural flaws that exist in the materials we use! The variations can occur due to the natural characteristics of the materials used or by imperfections already existing in the objects. Each of our pieces is handmade and, therefor, unique.
“Damage or breakage” are situations in which the overall structure of the piece is destroyed, for example: masks, mobiles, vases broken into several pieces or ripped rope. The situations of "damage or breakage" will be analyzed individually.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
The conditions of this contract apply to Portuguese law. The attribution of jurisdiction in the event of a dispute, and the lack of amicable agreement between the parties will be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal despite the plurality of defendants and / or whatever the type of procedures.
In the event of a dispute, the consumer, under Law No. 144/2015, may also resort to an Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entity: CNIACC - National Center for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts (www.arbitragemdeconsumo.org).
